Media
There was some media attention for the Assyrian genocide. Most just reported large events that happened like battles or massacres. The most of the articles were printed in the UK,US, Canada, and Australia.
International Response
The International community did little to help the Assyrians but the genocide ended with the defeat of the Ottoman Empire. Only The US, France, Sweden, and Australia have allowed monuments to be built. Very few countries recognize the Assyrian genocide but in 2007 the International Association of Genocide Scholars, the world's leading genocide scholars organization, overwhelmingly passed a resolution officially recognizing the Assyrian genocide.
